My training, experiences, and characteristics that qualify me to serve as a state representative in Texas are my conservative South Texas (District 30) values being:

- Follower of Jesus Christ; - Family values for my Texas heritage, and raising children to fear God, respect authority, to serve our community, honor our great nation, work hard and to be independent. - Training and Experience - leadership, small business owner trained in business development by some of the world's top and most profitable corporations.

My characteristics, training and experiences have provided the qualifications for me to make good decisions based on sincere listening first, thorough research and asking questions to achieve results with follow-through.
Strong education is the most important challenge facing Texas.

Without a strong education moral decay, disrespect, and societal chaos are a result - which is what we are facing today.

As a former School Board Trustee and current education and business development & training consultant, I understand the tremendous impact education has on our Texas' workforce development, and also for Texas to be an attractive place for businesses to grow and investors to invest - all for helping reduce our tax burdens.

Article VII in our Texas Constitution mandates: "A general diffusion of knowledge being essential to the preservation of liberties and rights of the people, it is the duty of the Legislature to support and maintain efficient education."
The top priorities for public education I want to see addressed by the Texas Legislature are three: 1) Reform Property Tax and provide for the proper funding of our public education as directed by our Texas Constitution found in Article VII Section 1 titled "Support and Maintenance of System of Public Free Schools".

2) Create a highly improved public school system to increase the wages of public school educators and support staff to afford the best hires and training for both basic curriculum and career and technology education that ultimately creates a strongly educated and well-trained workforce.

3) Support public higher education (college & university) to prepare graduates to be most productive in the years following their graduation.
The best use of state funds and resources to address immigration in our border communities is by enforcing proper immigration processes and laws.

We should also focus our process attention and efforts more upstream in the countries that are the largest exporters of immigrants (as is currently today Venezuela) to properly identify and work on the flow of immigration.

Simply, Texas can not economically afford to continue allowing the current high number of immigrants; and we must be most protective and defend against criminal and terrorist entering through our border communities.

I’m a native of Victoria and I’ve raised my kids here with conservative values based in faith, family and freedom. I’m deeply committed to serving this community because I want to continue the strong conservative leadership that has made HD 30 the best place to live, work and raise a family in Texas. More than ever—with Joe Biden’s failed policies creating chaos from our border to our economy—we need principled leaders who will deliver conservative results and protect our way of life.

As a local small businessman, I know what it takes to create jobs and stay on budget. As Mayor of Victoria, I fought tough battles to protect our values: protecting our kids from sexually explicit materials at the library and encouraged economic growth.
Our state’s safety and sovereignty are non-negotiable. The top issue I hear from voters is that they’re fed up with Biden’s open borders leaving our communities vulnerable to drug and human traffickers and deadly fentanyl. I believe an “all-in” approach to border security is critical to safeguard our state, including physical barriers and empowering law enforcement to stop drug smugglers and human traffickers.

Additionally, my focus as a city council member and mayor has been on creating an economic environment that encourages job creation and increased opportunities for families. I’m committed to reducing burdensome regulations and keeping taxes low so families and job creators can keep more of their hard-earned dollars.
I support our current and retired teachers and will ensure they have the resources necessary to give our students the quality education they deserve. Also, I believe our public schools improve with competition and students thrive when parents have education options, including education savings accounts that allow them to choose the school and education that is best for their children.
We need to ensure our immigration laws are enforced to the letter of the law—no matter what happens and who is in office in Washington D.C.—because our safety and sovereignty are non-negotiable. To do this, I believe we need an “all-in” approach to border security that builds on our state’s past investments, including physical barriers and empowering law enforcement to stop drug smugglers and human traffickers.

The most important challenge facing the state of Texas at this time is illegal immigration. As a state representative, I will push self, non-violent, self-deportation initiatives and programs. I will also fully support, advocate and promote Operation Lone Star which is designed to specifically deal with illegal immigration, sex and human trafficking, and drug interdiction by partnering with DPS and the Texas National Guard. As a state representative, I will work very hard to let citizens and non-citizens know I support and will enforce Operation Lone Star to the fullest extent of my authority. I will also push for consequences for those who hire non-citizens who do not meet the legal criteria to work in the state of Texas. Vote for Vanessa!
My top priorities for public education are to ensure TX students are not being indoctrinated with CRT, DEI, 1619, and other socialistic rhetoric that does more to divide than to unite. I believe the purpose of public education is to prepare the next generation to meet the demands of a civilized society requiring talent and skills obtained through higher education and training. Public educators are a priority of mine too. They must be well paid, respected, and protected in order to recruit and to retain them into a very difficult profession. Public educators should be among the highest paid in our society as with first responders. Additionally, curriculum must be prioritized based on our societal needs for global dominance. Vote For Vanessa!
The best use of state funds and resources to address the immigration crisis is to use them for self-deportation and for deportation purposes. The funds should also be used to transport illegals to east and west coast sanctuary cities in the US. The funds should also be used to pay law enforcement top dollar to do a very difficult job of keeping us safe from the outcomes of illegal immigration: sex and human trafficking, illegal drugs like fentanyl orchestrated by dangerous drug cartels which are nothing more than terrorist organizations. We must also use state funds and resources to reimburse TX citizens like business owners and landowners most harmed by the impact of having such a massive invasion of illegals. Vote For Vanessa!

I am a fifth-generation Texan with ancestors who have called this part of Texas their home for over 150 years, a veteran of the United States Military, and Conservative Republican. I have spent over 40 years in law enforcement serving and defending our community. I realized early in my law enforcement career that the best way to govern the rule of law was to be present in the law making in Austin. I have over 20 years of experience crafting legislation, building relationships at the Texas Capital, and moving bills along the process!
Lack of strong leadership in elected positions and upholding conservative values
Parental empowerment. Get rid of woke indoctrination of our children and develop quality education for future generations (leaders). I want all Texas Children to have a tremendous educational experience!
#1 Security issue/threat of the US. Use of several key State initiatives to control flow into the State of Texas! I have a border plan which will stop the flow from wanting to come or stay in Texas!
