My top priorities begin with early literacy intervention by removing laptops from K–2 classrooms and partnering with local colleges to place education majors with certified teachers for academic credit. I also want to expand skilled trades, entrepreneurship, and industry certification pathways for students. Lastly, we need to reduce reliance on government funding by fostering responsible corporate and private-sector partnerships that strengthen schools, communities, and housing opportunities.
As the spouse of an educator, fair teacher compensation is a top priority. I support fair and competitive salaries and high-quality, affordable benefits to help recruit and retain excellent teachers. I understand the challenges educators face, and I will always keep their needs and the success of our schools at the forefront of my decisions.
I would start by reviewing spending from the top down. State data (April 2026) shows district-level administrative staffing has grown significantly (48%) over the past 20 years across FL public schools, so financial decisions that shift resources from classrooms to overhead should be carefully justified. I also support reducing reliance on government funding by fostering responsible corporate and private-sector partnerships that strengthen schools and allow an increase in financial resources.
Improve parental engagement and communication to better support students' well-being. Expand partnerships with vetted community organizations and local universities (allowing graduate students completing clinical requirements) to provide supervised mental health services in schools. Increase access to counselors, promote early intervention, and equip staff to recognize signs of distress so every student has the support needed to succeed.

My top priority is improving student outcomes. Today, 46% of our third graders are not reading at grade level, limiting every future opportunity. The board's job is to set clear goals and hold the system accountable for reaching them. I will focus the board on measurable progress in literacy, math, school safety, teacher support, family engagement, and accountability, so every school is aligned to clear goals and every child is prepared to succeed in school, career, and life.
Teachers are the most important in-school factor affecting student success and deserve competitive pay, strong benefits, and professional respect. Palm Beach County must remain competitive in recruiting and retaining high-quality educators. I support fair compensation, affordable healthcare, meaningful professional development, and working conditions that allow teachers to focus on teaching and learning. Investing in teachers is investing in student achievement and our community’s future.
Competitive pay and strong benefits are how we attract and keep great teachers, and our students cannot succeed without them. I support compensation that reflects the demands of the profession and keeps Palm Beach County competitive with neighboring districts. As a board member, I will make teacher recruitment and retention a clear budget priority, respect the collective bargaining process, and hold the district accountable for spending that puts resources into classrooms and the people in them.
Student mental health is inseparable from student achievement. A child in crisis cannot learn. I support expanding access to counselors, psychologists, and social workers so every school has the staff to meet students' needs early, not just in emergencies. The board's role is to make mental health a clear goal, fund it as a priority, & hold the district accountable for measurable results: shorter wait times, stronger early intervention, and real partnerships with families and community providers

My top priority is improving student achievement by ensuring every child can read proficiently and perform math at grade level. Far too many students begin school already behind, and we must invest in early literacy, evidence-based instruction, strong teachers, and meaningful family engagement. Every decision I make will be guided by what best supports student success.
Great schools require great teachers. I support competitive salaries, strong benefits, and professional development that help us recruit and retain exceptional educators. We must be fiscally responsible while recognizing that investing in our teachers is one of the most effective ways to improve student outcomes and strengthen our schools.
The district should prioritize classroom instruction and student services while carefully reviewing administrative costs and operational efficiencies. Every taxpayer dollar should be spent transparently and strategically. I support data-driven budgeting, pursuing available grants and partnerships, and making difficult decisions based on what delivers the greatest benefit to students.
Student mental health is essential to academic success. We should expand access to school counselors, psychologists, and social workers, strengthen partnerships with community providers, train staff to identify students in need, and increase family engagement. We must provide timely, evidence-based support while creating safe, welcoming learning environments where every student can thrive.

As the only active teacher in this race, my top priority is improving student achievement. Every decision the School Board makes should answer one question: "How does this help students succeed?" That means recruiting, supporting and retaining great teachers, focusing on early student development, expanding career and technical education, ensuring safe schools, and demanding every tax dollar is spent responsibly and transparently.
Great schools begin with great teachers. We must remain competitive in recruiting and retaining high-quality educators by prioritizing fair compensation and strong benefits. As a teacher, I understand the financial challenges educators face firsthand. At the same time, raises must be fiscally responsible, sustainable, and focused on attracting and keeping excellent teachers in our classrooms.
The district has a responsibility to be a good steward of taxpayer dollars. Before considering cuts that impact classrooms, I would review administrative spending, eliminate inefficiencies, and ensure every dollar is aligned with improving student outcomes. My priority is protecting classroom instruction, school safety, and teacher support while increasing transparency and accountability in the budgeting process.
Student mental health is essential to academic success. We should continue expanding access to school counselors and mental health professionals while strengthening partnerships with families and community providers. Early intervention, staff training, and creating safe, supportive school environments can help students before challenges become crises. Mental health support should complement, not replace, strong parental involvement.
