I’ve been on the School Board for the last four years my platform as I started my journey was to build new schools and to be an advocate of education for all children in the community. As of to date, we have announced the completion of East Bay school and Wallace Lake school. Additionally, we have started construction on South sound school and expect it to open in the near future. I want to continue to serve with honesty, integrity, and common sense
Following and maintaining the budget To make sure that we are giving our teachers and staff the highest quality pay that the budget would allow, and therefore would entice them to stay and also would encourage in recruiting and maintaining our Teachers and staff
As a School board member, I would definitely go by the law. There is a Process of getting books in the library and a process of getting them out. And staying educated and updated on the laws.
By maintaining the highest quality of resource officers on our school’s campus, and to make sure that they have the resources that are needed for the safety and care of our students, teachers and staff. And in the near future to have our guardian program up and running in every school in our district.

I am committed to putting families first and creating a thriving environment for our students.
1. Competitive pay and enhanced benefits, that including health insurance and retirement plans. 2. Ensure teachers have the necessary classroom resources and technology to effectively teach. 3. Involve teachers in the school policy decisions to increase their investment in the school community.
I think the first thing we should look at is streamlining the process. I came to this conclusion after speaking with numerous parents and leaders in our county. We also need an online link for book selection to review prior to the school system purchasing any book. Form a community advisory group to meet and discuss material prior to moving forward with the purchase.
Ensure regular deep cleaning and sanitizing of school facilities, including classrooms, restrooms, and common areas. Increase the availability of mental health resources, including counselors and support programs, to address the psychological well-being of students and staff. Ensuring a sufficient number of trained school resource officers are available to respond to emergencies and provide a sense of security.
