My professional background is in purchasing, supply chain management, construction, and commercial real estate. During the housing market collapse, I worked for national homebuilders where every dollar mattered and strong negotiation kept projects moving. I later worked with custom builders and a boutique developer in Georgetown, D.C., gaining valuable experience in development, budgeting, contract negotiation, and commercial leasing.
We must make Santa Rosa County the district where educators want to build a career by offering competitive pay, reducing unnecessary administrative burdens, and ensuring teachers have the resources and support they need.
Parents have every right to raise concerns and they deserve to know those concerns will be taken seriously. I support a review process that is transparent, consistent, and follows Florida law. My focus would be making sure decisions are thoughtful, timely, and always centered on what's best for our students.
Student safety must always come first. I support strengthening policies that address inappropriate staff-student relationships and grooming behaviors before they escalate.
