My priorities are public safety, accountability, and restoring trust in the justice system. I focus on prosecuting serious and violent crime, supporting victims, and ensuring fair outcomes. I take a balanced approach—holding offenders accountable while supporting evidence-based alternatives that reduce recidivism. I am committed to transparency, ethical decision-making, and strong collaboration with law enforcement and community partners.
I bring extensive prosecutorial experience and have served as State’s Attorney since 2019. I have handled a wide range of cases and exercise sound judgment in balancing accountability with fairness. I value collaboration with law enforcement and community partners and am committed to ethical decision-making, transparency, and effective leadership.
Our office ensures equal access to justice by applying the law fairly and consistently, without regard to background or circumstance. I support clear communication so all parties understand the process and their rights, and I work with justice partners to address barriers such as language, mental health, and financial limitations. My focus is on fair, impartial decision-making in every case.
Yes. A State’s Attorney plays an important role by promoting accountability while supporting strategies that reduce reoffending. This includes using evidence-based diversion when appropriate, addressing underlying issues like addiction and mental health, and working with community partners on reentry efforts. The goal is safer communities through reduced recidivism.
