To help return a political balance to county government to make Delaware County an even better place to live and work by giving all residents a voice and being an advocate for towns, farmers and county employees.
To continue to improve relations with local town governments.
To create a formal relationship with local schools.
To help farmers be able to use their land more profitably.
To improve training, benefits and working conditions for county department heads and employees.
To encourage grocery expansion to areas of the county where fresh produce and meat are not readily available.
No. I worked in the Justice Center for one year (2022-2023) and, without extensive renovations there didn't appear to be adequate space to accommodate additional offices.
I feel that recent county commissioners have a done a good job of maintaining roads and bridges in the county. Bridge work is, almost always, very expensive. During my talks with farmers, many have been displeased with the response of the county surveyor regarding ditch maintenance. The commissioners should do everything in their authority to get adequate broadband service for ALL of the county. It's a necessity for citizens AND schools.
