Education/Experience
Current Greene County Auditor, Greene County Treasuer 2019-2024, Former Edward Jones Advisor, Over 10 Years in Local Banking. Graduated from Wright State University with a Degree in Finance.
The County Auditor’s office fulfills numerous critical responsibilities essential to the operation of county government. One of my key ongoing initiatives has been property tax reform. As an active member of the County Auditor Association of Ohio and its Legislative Committee, I collaborate with colleagues to advocate for effective reforms. Through partnership with state legislators, we successfully secured passage of five major property tax bills, providing substantial relief to property owners. Greene County requires an Auditor who possesses comprehensive knowledge of property taxation.
My experience as County Auditor and former County Treasurer is unmatched. I actively manage daily operations and work closely with staff. We've implemented major technological upgrades and streamlined departments for greater efficiency. The Auditor, as Chief Financial Officer, ensures smooth government operations across the county and municipalities. An experienced leader is essential to prevent funding delays that affect local services, especially in smaller communities with tight budgets. I've built strong relationships with officials, employees, and citizens because of this experience.
If elected, I will continue to work on property tax reform by collaborating with legislators for targeted homeowner relief. I plan to advance office technology with electronic form submissions to simplify processes. Staff training remains a priority; in the past eighteen months, we've provided training sessions for all county departments, not just the Auditor’s office.
