The Vanderburgh County Council is the fiscal body of County government and serves as a check on the Board of County Commissioners.The council has the ultimate decision-making power regarding fiscal affairs. The council has authority to view or review fiscal matters, determine proper policy, and set priorities for the allocation and expenditure of county funds.County Council is comprised of seven members. The County is divided into four Council districts from which one Council member is elected from each district and three Council members are elected from the County at-large.

As it pertains to Vanderburgh County, how will you ensure there is a range of safe, affordable, and dependable transportation options for people who choose to or must walk, bike, and/or ride public transportation to where they need to go?
What specific recommendations do you have to ensure Vanderburgh County has affordable, accessible housing options for people of all ages and abilities, whether with new construction and/or supporting home rehabilitation and repairs?
The changes in Property Tax Revenue will have an impact on County Budgets. What actions do you think the County should take to continue to provide services to the residents?
