The decisions made in county council affect our diverse population. My personal experiences have helped me understand the needs of families, widows, single moms, grandparents, single career women, and those retired. I have had all those titles. In addition, I am a recently retired Registered Nurse who worked with special needs children and the elderly.
Our county government should look at encouraging new small businesses and job creation. We need jobs that pay well enough for citizens to afford the housing that is already available.
Encouraging citizens to shop at local businesses and lowering taxes stimulates economic growth.
We need to enforce the laws to prosecute those bringing drugs into our county.
Cut taxes for our hard-working families and small businesses. Protect our U.S. Constitutional rights and freedoms by supporting our First and Second Amendment rights. Keep us safe by supporting our law enforcement.
