Clerk of Circuit Court

The clerk administers the official court records of all court cases with jurisdiction in that county and prepares the Court’s permanent records. The clerk processes marriage licenses, prepares notary certifications, processes applications and issues documents for court cases. They also collect and distribute monies related to a court case and are subject to regular audits by the State Board of Accounts. The clerk administers all federal, state, county, municipal and special elections for our county.

Current Experience I am the current Montgomery County Clerk and I have worked in the Clerk's Office for 12 years. I have been a part of 17 Elections. I worked for a Local Attorney's Office for 7 years before coming to the Clerk's Office.
Qualifications I am the current Montgomery County Clerk. I was caucused in to fulfill the previous Clerk's last year of her term. I submitted my name to the Republican Party chair and the Republican party choose me for the position. I have worked in the Clerk's Office for the past 12 years and have worked in all capacities of the Office. I have been involved with 17 elections while working in the Clerk's Office. I know the laws and how the Clerk's Office runs.
Community Involvement I am a active member of the VFW Auxiliary , I have held many offices within the Auxiliary. I have also volunteered with numerous events and projects that the Auxiliary and the Post have been involved with.
I am the current Montgomery County Clerk. I have worked in the Clerk's Office for 12 years, I have been a part of 17 Elections. I know all aspects for the Clerk's Office day to day operations. I know the laws and rules that go along with the day to day operations of the Clerk's Office and the Election Laws. I have worked in customer service for 30 years.
Making sure that all of the Election Laws and Rules are followed and the Elections are ran with the utmost integrity. Also, making sure that when the Laws and Rules change, whether it be Election Laws or Judicial Laws, that they are implemented into our procedures.
To continue to work with the other offices. To continue to stay up to date on the laws and rules of our Judicial System and Election Laws.
I have the experience and knowledge to continue to run the Clerk's Office smoothly. I also have the desire to continue serving the Citizens of Montgomery County. I enjoy working in the Clerk's Office and with our Community.
I honestly haven't heard much in terms of how the Clerk's Office is ran. I have been asked about our Election procedures and once I explain how the Elections are ran according to the State of Indiana's Law, the majority of the people are happy with the way the Rules and Law are followed in our County.

Having previously owned and operated our family service business in the county, I have gained valuable experience in managing records and providing exceptional service to constituents. As the custodian of all court records, I am committed to operating the office with integrity, transparency, and efficiency. My priority is to ensure that the needs of our county's residents are met, and I am dedicated to keeping an open door policy for all.
In recent years, Montgomery County has experienced a surge in larger businesses, posing challenges for small businesses in terms of hiring and retaining employees. As a small business owner myself, I understand the importance of supporting our local businesses and finding solutions to offer competitive benefit packages. Additionally, the county is facing difficulties in providing affordable housing and necessary infrastructure to attract and retain a skilled workforce, which are crucial issues that need to be addressed to sustain our local economy.
My goal as Clerk of the Circuit Court is to provide superior service to all constituents. I aim to build a team and office that prioritizes your needs and operates in compliance with the law. I am committed to fulfilling the duties of the clerk with diligence and dedication.
As a county official elected by the people, I am dedicated to representing all constituents impartially. Montgomery County has provided my family and me with wonderful opportunities, and I am eager to give back to the community through my service. Over the past month, I have had the privilege of engaging in conversations with members of our community. The most common issues raised by residents include local taxes, the condition of our roads, and immigration matters. Although these topics may not fall directly within the purview of the clerk's office, I am committed to leveraging my position to advocate for the interests of Montgomery County residents and to encourage decision-makers to prioritize the well-being of our community."
