I have years of experience dealing with issues at both the state and local level. This, coupled with my practical business experience in communications, banking and insurance, provides me with a unique view related to problem solving and effective implementation of mandated services that the county provides to citizens
Yes. The growth in road infrastructure needs to keep pace with the growth in northwest Douglas County. In order to accomplish this effectively, it is important that the county spend taxpayers dollars in the wisest manner possible. Which could, of course, mean making difficult budget cut decisions in areas related to non-mandated budget items and spending
The plan should encompass aggressively managed public services (outreach personnel, counselors, teachers, etc.), along with public-private partnerships that impact youth within the system at the earliest stages.
