In your opinion, what type of assistance program is most needed in your township? If this program already exists within the township, explain what you will do to enhance it if you are elected. What else would you like to tell us?

The Township Board ensures that all state regulations are followed and that our budget is used for its intended purposes. We are the watchdog to make sure the taxpayers in our area can be confident that the government services, entities, and those in need are receiving what they need and are allowed under the state statutes.
Our community has three volunteer fire departments that we work to supply the equipment they need to protect the community. We also provide major funding to our ambulance service. We work with the ambulance board (of which we are all members) to keep costs as low as possible while keeping service top notch.
We offer suggestions and sound advice about spending that keeps the township in the black and ensures that we don't need to borrow money for most items. We also work with the Trustee through outreach and social media to make the public aware of all the help the Trustee offers.
The GED program is vital to helping people finish their education and make life better. Also, one of the greatest things the Trustee's office has is the ability to guide community members to where private sector and other help is available. Whether it is church or a non-profit organization, the Trustee has an extensive list of resources to offer.
I have gladly been a public servant for 8 years now and am looking forward to serving another four years on the Township Board and Tri-Creek Ambulance Service for another term if the public chooses to elect me.
