Middlesex County Clerk
The Middlesex County Clerk is elected for a five-year term. The County Clerk's Office is a constitutional office as set forth in the New Jersey State Constitution. The Clerk's office records land transactions (deeds and mortgages) and handles many election-related duties: petitions for county and municipal offices and school board, design and printing of election ballots, and processing vote-by-mail applications, among other things.
