Education Certificate in Business - Bismarck State College; Project Management Certification – Kirkwood Community College; Online Training for Microsoft Office
Occupation/Experience Public Service Commission – State of North Dakota; ACT, Inc (national college entrance exam) – Iowa City, Iowa
I worked for 25 years at ACT, Inc. (national college entrance exam). For 8 years, I worked as Executive Assistant where I developed and managed an annual Budget; organized and hosted corporate events; and was the “go-to” person for employees. Lastly, I managed the process of copyrighting secure tests at the U.S. Copyright Office. I developed a close working relationship with Copyright Office staff and management. Due to the exacting nature of the work, this was the most labor intensive. If not executed accurately, it could result in millions of lost revenue. My abilities, experience and skills has given me the qualifications needed for this position.
I believe the most important responsibility of the position of Treasurer is the financial stewardship for my constituents, the township residents. From assisting with budgeting to collection of Property Taxes to the oversight of the records retention and disposal schedule
The most important need is financial transparency; to clarify and then to clearly and accurately state the township budget; and to track spending to the budget by creating concise monthly reports.

With the information above, me and my fellow Board members will be able to make informed financial decisions to optimize township spending and minimize or reduce assessments.
