The main responsibility of the Jerome Twp Constable position is to perform liquor inspections in the Township, both our packaged licensed liquor sales and restaurants / bar. My experiences have taught me how to apply the Michigan Liquor Control Commission rules and work with businesses to avoid problems for them and our community.
To help keep our community safe. Ensuring the licensed liquor sales businesses in our Township reflect the values of our community, and they do. To help ensure our young people, under the age of 21 are not able to purchase acholic and our licensed businesses activities are in compliance with their license.
The most pressing issues facing our township are outside of the Constable's role. Issues such as restoring our lake and affordable housing. While these issues are outside the Constable's role I believe we all play a role in making our community a great place to live and work, and I do my best to help where I can.
