VOTE411 Voter Guide

I was born and raised here in Copemish, I had great role models, from my Teachers, and many people here in the village. I have always loved living here, I want to see the infrastructure any amenities that I, as an elected official, can help provide for our little community. I want to give back what people here through my many years of living here, showed me. Hard work, dedication, to this beautiful little community, I served here in the village as past council woman and then as village president almost 20 years, I thought I could come back as president to help guide our village, into becoming even better, providing an environment where our future children can be as proud as I have been living here.

First, and foremost, making sure as an official of this village, that we spend wisely, making sure our streets, are in good repair, that we can provide amenities, like our spring cleanup, helping villagers, like elderly or other ones who have no way to bring their refuse to our cleanup, we all want to see a clean space to live in, we also are beginning to address our sidewalks, in need of repairs.

First and foremost is our Blight, from junk vehicles, to a burned out house, to just general trash laying around. I realize how hard it is for some to care for their surroundings, so we do offer help to them. Right now I am working towards a solution, to help get this situation under control. Second we have a very big problem with speeding cars, trucks and even motorcycles, it is extremely frustrating, and dangerous, my goal is to try and get more police presence here in the village, to let people know that we care about the safety of all who live here.
