Equitable and affordable access to healthcare is declining, in part due to the decrease of federal insurance subsidies. At the same time, more Medicaid costs are being pushed onto the states. A. Floridians need property tax reduction. I will work with the leaders of Florida to greatly reduce the taxes on residential property while working towards solutions to maintain local core and essentials services. B. Property Homeowners and Flood insurance reduced premiums needed. Work towards allowing higher deductibles and customized policies as some options to every homeowner.
New voter laws do go into effect Jan 1 2027. I would support expanding public education, transportation assistance, Legal Aid.
Expand on local SHIP programs and work to bring ADU's Across the entire state of Florida.

As we work to address more affordable housing statewide some local authority is being dictated by the state, A balance has to be maintained for local government also.
Health Insurance needs to be more available to all to strive for more preventative care programs. All need some level of coverage.
Citizens Insurance needs to offer flood insurance as an option not mandatory attached to all homeowner's policy. More Insurance Companies need to be able to do business in Florida to create an ever more competitive marketplace.
