Occupation Social Worker
I have been living in Silver City for 17 years, where together with my husband we are raising two school-aged kids. I earned a Master of Social Work degree from New Mexico State University and have worked as a clinical social worker for the past 20 years. I currently am a school social worker at Aldo Leopold (public) Charter School and am also Executive Director for the Imagination Library of Grant County, a nonprofit promoting early literacy. I have volunteered for Literacy Link Leamos, led parenting classes at the detention center, and served on local boards including Guadalupe Montessori School, Community Partnership for Children, and the Silver City Public Library Advisory Board.
Education, Environment and Access to Healthcare
I would talk with residents about their interests and concerns and encourage them to speak up and get involved.
I would partner with the County Clerk's Office.
