Healthcare - everyone needs access to a strong affordable healthcare plan that has low premiums and reduced overall costs of care.
Environment - our drinking water and natural resources need strong protections to ensure people don’t have to worry about the quality of what they drink and that our natural resources remain a main draw for tourism to the state.
Farm and small business viability - the state’s economy relies on the profitability of our farms and businesses. We need to enact safeguards that support farmers’s ability to make a living and so businesses can thrive.
A strong healthcare solution will put more money in the pockets of Minnesotans which in turn can be spent building our economy. Safeguarding our natural resources will encourage tourism, which strengthens small businesses and supports farmers by providing for the meals they eat and ethanol enhanced gas they utilize. This also increases significant revenue to the state. Farmers will need options to sell their crops to more markets and look to other crops to provide income.
A Minnesota Equal Rights Amendment is a top priority. Legislation that creates more affordable housing and has protections that support both the renter and landlord.
Yes! Everyone deserves the same rights and protections under the law.
Any legislation that would restrict the opening of our state or national parks to mining or corporate use. Funding for research to mitigate nitrate runoff from farm fields and home lawns. Ensuring MPCA regulations are strong enough to regulate potential data centers.
Our rural police, fire and ambulance services are struggling to remain funded and many have shut down, now relying on distant towns to provide support. Legislation to ensure adequate funding is needed. Healthcare legislation can enable people to afford care, which in turn lowers costs and keeps rural clinics open.
We need more restrictions on corporate PACs. You are elected to serve the people that support these corporations, not the corporations themselves.
