Long Beach City Clerk - Treasurer
The city clerk keeps all of the city's records, such as minutes from meetings of the city council. The city clerk also keep copies of the city's laws and often are in charge of conducting the city's elections. Sometimes the position is combined with city treasurer. The city treasurer is responsible for properly handling and accounting for the city's funds. These duties include not only handling any money or checks, but also keeping thorough records of financial transactions.
