My track record of civil service separates me from other candidates. Prior to my current term on city council, I served on several committees, task forces, etc., including New Hope’s Citizen’s advisory commission.
I also spent 10 years on the Winnetka Green Board of directors, I’ve spent nearly 6 years on my church council and am the current president, and I’ve recently joined the Anoka Ramsey Community College Fund board.
I spend time outside of New Hope working with organizations like the League of Minnesota Cities and the North Metro Mayor’s Association and I’m an ambassador for our city everywhere I go.
My priorities are:
1) Making sure New Hope remains a safe and welcoming place for everyone
2) Fiscal responsibility, spending the right money
3) Community engagement
I want to make sure that our city is a place that residents love living in and that everyone else wants to visit. Knowing where to allocate our city budget to make sure we do this is very important and engaging with the community lets us know what we’re doing right and what needs to improve.
I plan to do this in the same way that I have since being elected in 2020 and before that, by meeting people where they are.
I have a passion for engaging with people and that leads me to attending events throughout our community as often as I’m able and striking up conversations with others at local businesses.
Making myself available to the residents of our city has been something I’ve always believed in.

I’ve always encouraged people to ask me questions, pass on suggestions, and have ongoing dialogue regarding the state of our city.
