I have been a resident of Anoka County most of my life, I am currently a resident of the City of Ramsey. I am a graduate of Hamline University and Hamline University Scholl of Law and work in the public sector as a real estate attorney, I am running for this position because I want to actively participate in conservation planning for Anoka County
My top three priorities are groundwater protection, conservation of native habitats as well as outreach and education. My goals are to draw attention to groundwater and native habitats through education and outreach. Both groundwater and native habitat is often neglected when developing new areas often the focus is on containing runoff and replacing a tree count instead of protection of the groundwater and natural habitat. Education and outreach are essential for this to happen.
This office is important to its constituents because it ensure that the environment we live in is preserved for future generations. The biggest improvement to this office I would make is more outreach and public engagement
This office should be tracking the effects of climate change and actively promoting projects that mitigate these effects.
