Education/Degrees JD from Texas Tech School of Law
Professional Experience I have 25 years practicing as trial attorney and I have tried over 35 murder and capital murder cases.
I have 25 years of experience in practicing law and all of those years have been inside of a courtroom. I would be ready from day one to step into the role of the Judge based on this tremendous amount of experience. As a former prosecutor, I was trusted with the most complex prosecutions, including the early stages of the Walmart shooting case, because of my sound judgment, legal knowledge, and commitment to fairness and justice. I supervised the homicide unit at the DA's Office for more than ten years while training attorneys and continuing to try cases. Having served as both a prosecutor and criminal defense attorney, I bring balanced experience and real courtroom leadership. As Justice of the Peace, I will ensure the JP court serves the community with excellence—fairly, efficiently and with integrity.
My court will always be open to the public. Always. And anyone attempting to navigate through the system will always be aided by my staff, whether its online or in person. I will make sure all lawsuits are expedited as I understand that timeliness is inherently a crucial part in most cases, especially evictions.
I want to serve this role with honor and integrity. I am confident I am the most qualified candidate for this role and would love the opportunity to serve my community as a competent, knowledgeable, and fair Judge.
