Occupation Public Accountant
I am a veteran of U.S. Army intelligence and held a Top Secret-SCI security clearance. I worked alongside border patrol, DEA and other agents by collecting valuable intelligence. 33% of my district is Latino and I am the only candidate licensed as a Spanish linguist. As the owner of a certified public accounting (CPA) firm I have expertise in budgets, job creation, and detecting and preventing fraud and waste. Additionally, I currently help voters negotiate and reduce property taxes.
First, biometric information is the best way to verify identity. Mail-in ballots can include a tool to apply fingerprints and a phone app can also be used. This will bypass polling location corruption and encourage more voters, through convenience. Also, signatures cannot be forged, and the dead cannot continue voting. Second, blockchain technology can validate votes instead of poll workers and secretaries of state each vote would have an auditable trail and ballots cannot be destroyed.
The first step to any government spending program is detecting fraud and waste. This would help make healthcare more affordable and accessible. I would compare the actual expenditures to the budgeted appropriations and investigate variances. Next, I would conduct a focus study with citizens to find out what aspects of healthcare make it unaffordable and inaccessible. Afterwards, I would lobby by fellow lawmakers to adjust how Texas administers and monitors program success.
First, more incentives for vocational schools, as opposed to public universities. This will decrease the student loan burden necessary to train semi-skilled workers. Additionally, it will also release them into the work force at a faster rate. Also vocational schools are required to meet job placement criteria. Businesses in Texas should also have an incentive to hire. This is where the Texas Workforce Commission comes in. They have existing placement programs I would look into expanding.
Through a diverse product mix of energy sources. Each would have a cost/benefit analysis algorithm that would change based on environmental factors, cost to produce, capacity and various other variables to optimize energy efficiency and minimize global concerns.
I believe in a voucher program. In public schools the administrators consume the funds and educators are underpaid. The administration uses the suffering of educators to extract more tax dollars. A voucher system would force administrators to hire the best educators and pay them well, lest the children attend another school. Lack of school choice is an oligopoly and contrary to the principles of our country.

Occupation Registered Nurse
I have been a nurse for 35 years and I have been a resident in the district for over 40 years. I know the district, and I am familiar with the issues in the community. I've been a precinct chair and was elected to the SREC (State Republican Executive Committee) for Senate District 10 at the last state convention. I have worked directly with State legislators and testified on good conservative bills. I am a hard worker and will bring that same work ethic to the state legislature.
Election integrity is one of my priorities. One way to have fair elections is to mandate Voter ID with proof of citizenship to vote. In 2022 we discovered that countywide voting exposed a person's ballot, now others can know how the voter voted. This is a violation of the election code law. Return to precinct voting would eliminate the secrecy of the ballot issue.
Texans would have better coverage and receive better care by getting government out of the healthcare business and put it back under the county's authority. To ensure broader coverage for patient insurances should be mandated to cover a percentage of preexisting illness which would allow all people to be covered.
One legislative action to boost the opportunities for Americans is to eliminate the H1B visas from state contracts and Universities. H1B visa holders are being offered jobs and entrance into our universities over American citizens. Eliminating the H1B program from state funded businesses and state funded schools would open job opportunities and education that would benefit our American youth.
One way to ensure reliable and affordable energy is to eliminate the Right of First Refusal (ROFR) law, which stifles competition and drives up prices, while maintaining environmental stewardship. The second way is to have Real Permit reform which would eliminate delays and make it easier to explore and develop our energy resources. A third way would be to review our electricity policies to allow all energy sources to compete on a level playing field, instead of having mandates and subsides.
During one of my block walking days, I learned from a lady that the state of Texas took money away from our schools in 2018 and did not give it back. After talking to teachers and visiting schools, I learned that the state has been withholding funds from schools every year since 2018. This is the reason many schools are in debt because the state is failing the schools. As a legislator I would find out why the funds are being withheld and give the money back to the schools where it belongs.
