Tarrant County Judge

4 year term. Must be 18 years or older, a U.S. citizen, a resident of Texas and a resident of the county represented. Responsible for presiding over the Tarrant County Commissioners Court, which conducts the general business of the county and oversees financial matters. Despite the name of the office, this is not a judicial position and the officeholder is not required to be an attorney.

Community Activist (4+ Years)-Regularly attend and speak at Tarrant County Commissioners Court and local school board meetings.
Build on the recent interlocal agreement by adding clear service expectations, performance metrics, and accountability for both mental health and medical care provided inside the jail.

Require joint training for corrections staff and healthcare providers (JPS/MHMR) to improve understanding of behavioral health care needs and reduce safety risks.

Formalize mechanisms for joint review of critical incidents and deaths to improve outcomes and transparency.
Guarantee public comment before final votes on all substantive agenda items, not just during general comment periods.

Establish minimum speaking time standards that cannot be reduced arbitrarily when meetings run long.

Allow public comment to continue even when meetings extend beyond regular hours, ensuring citizens are not discouraged from participating

Bring back the meetings to 4 times a month.
Partner with local employers, trade schools, and community colleges to align training programs with actual workforce needs in the county.

Support job placement, re-entry employment programs, and skills training for residents facing barriers such as incarceration, disability, or lack of credentials.

Ensure residents can easily access information about available programs.
Use voting systems that create a verifiable paper trail so that voters and observers can confirm ballots are recorded as cast, improving trust in the results. Follow certified procedures like secure polling place setup, tamper-evident seals, and protocols for equipment failures to protect against mishandling or tampering. Invest in training for election judges, clerks, and volunteers so they understand both accessibility needs and security protocols.
Reducing lawsuits by respecting peoples First Amendment Rights. Oversee the Jails and make sure that standard operating procedures are followed. Make sure that the inmates are receiving their medicine according to the ADA laws, and in a timely manner. That is how you reduce the lawsuits.
