Education I completed my formal education in Texas and later served in the United States Navy, where I received advanced training in leadership, responsibility, and operational decision-making. I attended San Antonio College prior to joining the Navy, later studied management at Northwood University, and continued my education while on active duty at Tidewater Community College, where I studied criminal justice. Throughout my professional career, I have continued my education through industry-specific training, leadership development, and compliance-focused programs that support ethical and effective public service.
Experience I have over 30 years of professional experience in leadership, operations, and public service. I served eight years in the United States Navy, where I developed a strong foundation in discipline, accountability, and decision-making under pressure. Following my military service, I spent more than two decades in the automotive industry in senior leadership roles, including serving as a general manager for multiple dealerships and as president of a regional dealer association. My career has required strict adherence to ethical standards, regulatory compliance, personnel management, and fair, consistent decision-making.

My background combines military service, leadership experience, and extensive work in regulated environments. I served eight years in the United States Navy, where I developed discipline, accountability, and sound decision-making under pressure. In my professional career, I held senior leadership roles requiring strict compliance with laws and regulations, careful evaluation of facts, and fair treatment of individuals. I also studied criminal justice, which provided foundational knowledge of court processes and legal principles. Together, these experiences have prepared me to manage a courtroom efficiently, listen impartially, and apply the law with fairness and respect.
The most important priority of the Justice of the Peace is to ensure that every case is handled fairly, efficiently, and in accordance with the law. This includes providing due process for all parties, maintaining an orderly and respectful courtroom, and issuing decisions based solely on the facts and applicable law. The office should serve the public by ensuring access to justice, clear communication, and consistent application of legal standards while treating everyone with dignity and respect.
I would focus on organization, preparation, and clear communication. Effective docket management requires careful scheduling, timely review of filings, and setting clear expectations for court proceedings. I believe in maintaining an orderly courtroom, ensuring parties understand procedures, and allowing appropriate time for each case to be heard. Consistency in applying legal standards and attention to detail help cases move efficiently while ensuring each matter receives thorough and fair consideration in accordance with the law.
