I bring over 30 years of experience in law enforcement, public safety, and leadership, including service as a police officer, chief investigator, educator, and small business owner. I have enforced the law, managed complex operations, and made tough decisions under pressure. I believe government works best when leaders are accountable, experienced, and focused on public safety and results.
Texas should welcome data centers and job creation, but not at the expense of our communities. Regulations should ensure transparency, responsible water and energy use, and respect for local infrastructure. Taxpayers should not be forced to subsidize unchecked growth, and development must be planned responsibly to protect long-term economic stability.
The Legislature has a responsibility to set strong standards, protect students, and ensure accountability in public education. Parents deserve transparency, academic excellence, and safe learning environments. While local districts manage daily operations, the state must step in when schools fail students or misuse taxpayer dollars.
Water security is critical to Texas’ future. We must invest in infrastructure, conservation, and long-term planning while holding developers accountable for their impact. Economic growth should never compromise water quality or affordability. Responsible development and smart resource management can support growth without risking our most essential resource.
No child should go hungry in Texas. We should strengthen proven nutrition programs, support local food banks, and partner with schools and community organizations. Assistance programs must be efficient, accountable, and focused on helping families in need while encouraging long-term stability and self-sufficiency.
Yes. Secure elections are fundamental to our democracy. Requiring proof of citizenship when registering to vote helps protect election integrity and public confidence. Any system should be clear and accessible for eligible voters while preventing fraud and ensuring that only citizens participate in our elections.
