Hunger: How do we ensure no child goes hungry in the State of Texas?
Voter Rights: Would you support legislation that requires documented proof of citizenship when registering to vote? Please explain your answer.
I am a lifelong conservative and am uniquely qualified through my experience in public service, business, and charity. I started my career with Governor George W. Bush and later worked in the White House with President Bush. My career has been in the energy sector ever since, and I have built my own small business. I concurrently serve on the board of the Texas Department of Public Safety and serve as the executive director for a local foundation.
Local governments, the business community, and the affected industries should work together to determine the best way that data centers can operate and help our communities prosper. I am opposed to red tape regulations that only exist to hinder our economy.
I trust parents to be the best decision makers for their children’s education. The state should work to empower parents, not bureaucrats.
I support efforts to properly maintain and upgrade our water infrastructure to secure the future of Texas, including working with local governments and the business community, as well as through state efforts like the recently approved Texas Water Fund, and ensuring those funds are responsibly and effectively spent.
As a State Representative, I will work with local governments, the business community, and nonprofits to determine how we can best assist those in need. That includes reducing unnecessary barriers and red tape as well as securing reliable and responsible funding sources.
Yes, I would support legislation that requires documented proof of citizenship when registering to vote. I believe every voter should be a verified US citizen.
