A lifelong South San Antonio resident, I led my family’s business and built my own small business contributing to regional job creation and economic growth. I’m also a parent devoted to upholding family values and excellence in education and workforce development. Heavily engaged professionally and civically, public service and safety remain a critical priority for families, business, and the district. My experience, integrity, and commitment equip me to effectively advocate for all Texans.
Jobs & cost of living: attract employers, cut red tape, and keep taxes low so paychecks go further. Public safety: fully support law enforcement, target violent crime, and fund proven prevention programs. Education & opportunity: support educators, increase educational investments, and empower parents ensuring every child and student succeeds.
Increased power demands require effective resource and infrastructure management. I’ll fight for diversified disputable power generation of dependable resources balanced with reliable cost-effective renewables and storage lowering costs; modernizing permitting, connectivity, maintenance, and weatherization systems; market/policy reforms encouraging free-market approaches, block costly mandates; and assigned costs for higher technological demands and development to keep bills low and affordable.
Texas is seeing rising demand and doubled grid connections due to data centers. Policies should assign reliability costs to responsible sources, not families or businesses; enforce generator reliability standards; and promote a mix of reliable power generation, cost-effective renewables, energy innovation, market-driven approaches, and transparent PPPs.
No child should ever go hungry. I’ll ensure the most vulnerable are not overlooked by government and cut red tape so food reaches kids faster through school and summer meals and support local and innovative programs and partnerships with food banks, churches, nonprofits, and private sector. Spurring economic development contributes to the vitality of communities and I will be focused on job creation, better paychecks, workforce training, and affordability so parents can provide basic needs.
Quality education is the foundation of opportunity and every student deserves an education that prepares them for college, careers, trades, or military service. That means funding classrooms, not bureaucracy, supporting and increasing teacher pay, expanding career & technical education, empowering parents/protecting parental rights, implementing smart accountable systems, and ensuring safe schools. Every District 19 child deserves access to excellent community supported schools.
I served 14 years in the United States Army, supporting missions from Korea to Kentucky and managing budgets for Engineering Battalions. My life has been shaped by service, discipline, and responsibility.
I’ve also faced adversity head‑on. After enduring 20 surgeries and going from a wheelchair to walking again, I learned what true resilience looks like. Those challenges didn’t break me — they built me.
The strength I needed to rebuild my life is the same strength I will bring to the fight for
1. Border Security and Public Safety- Strengthen coordination between local, state, and federal law enforcement so rural counties aren’t left behind.
2. Economic Development and Job Growth- Support small businesses, ranchers, and farmers with grants, training, and access to capital.
3.Veteran Issues and Community Services- Expand access to VA services, mobile clinics, and rural healthcare options. Improve mental health resources, including counseling, crisis support, and peer programs.
I support an all‑of‑the‑above energy strategy that strengthens the grid, keeps power affordable, protects our land and water, and ensures Texas remains an energy leader for generations to come
Senate District 19 is going to have to address data center regulations which should focus on protecting our power grid, water resources, rural communities, and local taxpayers while still welcoming responsible investment.
In all of SD 19- No child in Texas should go hungry, and we can achieve that by strengthening school meals, expanding summer and after‑school nutrition, supporting rural food access, and partnering with the community to ensure every family has the resources they need
All the children of Texas deserve a strong public school, and that means supporting teachers, investing in early learning, strengthening rural and border‑area schools, expanding career pathways, and ensuring safe, well‑resourced classrooms for all students. The future resides in the Brillant minds of these young future leaders. It is our responsibility to enhance all opportunities to thrive for tomorrow.
