I graduated from Texas A&M in San Antonio with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Communication & Master of Business Administration. I’ve also completed studies in Computer Science and Doctoral Business Administration from Atlanta College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. Getting a quality education is very important & making sure that college graduates are ready to make better careers for themselves is something that I have gotten experience within. My experience in educational policy and business qualifies.
Higher income careers, Healthcare policy and
Quality education. The financial gap needs to be addressed.
These issues have to be addressed by someone, like my self with experience to make legislative decisions that make sense of everyone. I am qualified to be elected.
Offering healthcare within public and private policies. With health insurance premiums rising it’s important that you get the right healthcare policy coverage.
Congress legislates to control spending, regulate commerce and pay tax policy. It is importantly imperative that someone with experience is elected that knows what the economy needs to ensure the three branches of government maintain the Constitution.
Immigration reform should allow new citizenship education that prepares citizens, which I’ve supported.
The environment is very important and ensuring that the renewable energy is clean and renewable. With fossil fuels being used and carbon energy emissions with the environment, the potential energy efficiency is effectively protecting the environment and global warming interests.

I have been honored to represent San Antonio in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2013. I was proud to be named the most effective Democratic House member in the 118th Congress by the nonpartisan Center for Effective Lawmaking.
Now in my seventh term, my work in Congress focuses on building what I call the “Infrastructure of Opportunity,” the good public schools, high-quality health care system, and well-paying jobs that allow folks to pursue their American dream.
Every American should be able to receive the care they need without fear of financial ruin. We need a system that guarantees access for everyone, no matter where they live, how much they earn, or whether they have a pre-existing condition.
That means protecting and strengthening the Affordable Care Act, fighting to extend the health care tax credits that lower costs for working families, and expanding Medicaid in Texas, where millions remain uninsured because the state has refused to act.
The current Congress has weakened itself by surrendering core constitutional powers to the President instead of exercising its legislative responsibilities. On the budget, immigration, trade, and war powers, Congress has failed to assert its role or meaningfully constrain the executive, leaving it less able to address urgent concerns such as the high cost of living. Congress serves the American people, not the President, and must reclaim its authority through legislation and oversight.
Immigration and the border are among the thorniest issues in American politics. Too often, Republicans resort to fearmongering, turning immigrants into political scarecrows. I support comprehensive immigration reform that balances fairness and security and reflects our values. The United States is strong because of immigration, not despite it, and most Americans support a comprehensive solution.
Americans expect energy policies that balance reliable, affordable power with sustainability. That means investing in a diverse energy mix, including wind, solar, and energy efficiency, to lower costs and reduce pollution. Texans remember the 2021 Winter Storm Uri grid failure, which exposed the vulnerability of our infrastructure. Modernizing the grid and investing in storage and transmission are essential to prevent future disasters and keep energy affordable.
