Note: “Leadership you can trust is built on integrity, transparency, and doing what’s right.”
I currently serve as Constable and bring 28 years of law enforcement experience. Throughout my career, I have worked in every facet of the Constable’s Office, including patrol, civil process, writ enforcement, warrants, and traffic operations. As a writ deputy, I executed court orders, seized and sold property to satisfy judgments. I also served as Assistant Chief, where I gained extensive experience in leadership, supervision, and office operations. This well-rounded background equips me to effectively manage the Constable’s Office, ensure legal compliance, and accountability to the community
Key improvements include continued training in de-escalation, crisis intervention, and updates to civil and constitutional law. Modernizing technology for civil process tracking and reporting would increase efficiency and accuracy while reducing administrative burden.

Improved coordination with courts, the Sheriff’s Office, and local police agencies would enhance safety and effectiveness, particularly during high-risk civil actions. Clear policies, transparency, and accountability should remain priorities to maintain public confidence.

Finally, supporting deputy wellness and mental health.
The citizens of Precinct 3 are being served well, but early in my term I identified opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery. Upon taking office on January 1, 2023, I reviewed the production levels of all Dallas County precincts and found that Precinct 3 ranked second in overall production despite having the smallest staff.

Recognizing that the workload was not proportionate to staffing levels, I worked closely with county administration to secure additional personnel and enhance training. These improvements strengthened operational capacity and equipped deputies to meet needs
One of the most pressing issues for Constables in Dallas County is keeping pace with evolving technology and ensuring efficient, accurate service of civil and criminal processes. The recent implementation of the new civil process software, Softcode, is a prime example. As one of the project leads, I have firsthand experience addressing challenges such as staff training, workflow integration, and ensuring the software enhances both efficiency and accountability.

Another critical area is maintaining public trust and safety.

Recruiting, retaining, and supporting a skilled workforce is key.
