As a 25‑year resident of Lancaster, Texas, I am seeking re‑election as Councilmember for District 4 to continue serving the community I love. Having lived, worked, and raised my family here, I understand our city’s history and have played an active role in shaping its future. My experience on City Council has strengthened my ability to listen, collaborate, and translate community vision into effective policy and measurable results.
Managing budgetary challenges while maintaining the level of service residents expect requires careful planning, smart prioritization and a focus on long-term financial sustainability. In Lancaster, it means continuing to grow our tax base through jobs and investments and ensuring our economic growth supports the cost of city services.
The city should work closely with other levels of government, including agencies like the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, to ensure the safety, security and resilience of our community. These partnerships allow Lancaster to access resources, training and support for emergency preparedness, disaster response and public safety initiatives.

At the same time, local officials must maintain control over how these resources are implemented to ensure they meet the specific needs of our residents. By collaborating with federal and state partners while keeping decision-making local, Lancaster can
support strong policies that ensure all residents of Lancaster are treated fairly and without bias. This includes implementing equitable and transparent hiring practices within city government, promoting equity in all city programs, and ensuring that city services are accessible and responsive to everyone in our community.
Lancaster has started expanding transportation options. Through our partnership with STAR Transit, Lancaster has launched community transportation services that give residents additional ways to get around the city and beyond.

Looking ahead, I believe we should continue exploring opportunities that support mobility and quality of life, including expanding trails and alternative transportation routes. Projects like the Veloweb Trail show how hike and bike infrastructure can connect us regionally.
For me, one of the greatest challenges and area of opportunity for Lancaster is continuing to grow our economy in a way that creates opportunity while keeping our city financially strong. As our community continues to expand, we must make sure that growth is intentional and that we are building a more diversified economic base that supports long-term stability for our residents.

I believe Lancaster has tremendous potential to compete in emerging industries, including technology, data infrastructure and the rapidly growing AI sector.
