Goals: In your own words, explain the goals, responsibilities, and limitations of this role. (This question is exclusive to the online Vote411 Voter Guide.)
With 17 years in criminal justice, I started at the Randall County Sheriff Office jail briefly before transitioning to patrol, I earned multiple promotions, coordinator of the patrol training program, joined SWAT, and concluded my time in the Criminal Investigation Division. For the last five years at the Randall County District Attorney’s Office, I gained prosecutorial insight. I hold a Master Peace Officer certification and extensive training in civil process, leadership, and courtroom skills.
My career path has given me the opportunity to serve our community at every level, from initial calls for service to the prosecution phase. These combined experiences have prepared me to navigate complex situations with clarity, compassion, and sound judgment. They have also reinforced my belief in the importance of accountability, communication, and treating every individual with respect. As I continue my public service journey, I remain dedicated to upholding the values that have guided me throughout my career: integrity, hard work, and a steadfast commitment to the people I serve.
