What are the top three legislative priorities you believe the Indiana General Assembly should address in the upcoming session?
What specific policies do you support to strengthen public schools, including funding, teacher support, and accountability?
What measures would you propose to increase voter engagement and access in our state?
I support protecting a woman’s right to access birth control, emergency contraception, and to travel for safe, legal abortion care.
I support legalizing and responsibly regulating marijuana for adult use in Indiana.
What policies, if any, do you support to protect LGBTQ+ Hoosiers, including transgender students, from discrimination and harassment?
Do you support increasing or decreasing police funding to enhance accountability and increase community trust?
Who would you accept campaign contributions from, and are there any sources you would decline?
Please offer any comments or clarification on your responses above.

My priority will be directed toward Maternal Health and Children's issues. Educate members on the importance of Doula's and how many women are dying just by having children. Funding for Doula service would also be a priority. Continue to look at DCS and make sure our vulnerable children are seen and helped.
Fairer school funding for all i.e. public schools and charters. Make sure our children are treated fairly. Public vs. Charter. Make sure districts can meet basic staffing and materials. Take care of our teachers with competitive pay, bonuses and help with loan forgiveness and scholarships for teacher development. Take a look at testing and student evaluation
I believe our current voter engagement is working in our state. It could always be better. For example, no-excuse absentee voting (vote-by-mail), maybe a longer early voting period. With vote centers in Indiana I thing access is available and easy. Making sure our Seniors have access to the polls, early voting or on election day.
Make sure we are educating the voters on the issues and the candidates who are running for office. How about automatic voter registration i.e. eligible citizens through agencies like the BMV unless they opt out.

Continue to fight against proposed legislation that would harm
LGBTQ Hoosiers from discrimination and harassment. Lobby against bad legislation that would bring harm to this community.
I would never want to decrease funding for the police. All police action shooting should be investigated.
My campaign contribution come from PAC's, individuals and Corporations. In my years as a State Legislator I have never received a contribution from any one that didn't have my same belief system.
