Captain Gregory Patrick’s four-decade career in law enforcement is a testament to dedication, leadership, and heart. From his beginnings as an Indiana State Trooper to his current role as Captain of the ADC Jail Command with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Gregory has built a legacy of service marked by integrity, innovation, and compassion. Beyond the badge, he’s a veteran, entrepreneur, ordained deacon, and community leader whose impact reaches far beyond the walls of law enforcement.
Community engagement: Establish a Citizens Review Board

Helping the mentally ill that are incarcerated: Provide more certified Mental Health counselors

Juvenile education: Install a School Resource Officer program to engage the youth in our public schools

Recidivism: Establish programs to reach individuals before they get into the justice system
Youth programs, to educate the youth on the justice system before they’re caught in it
The push back will be from the youth, once we get involved at the elementary level and the youth are familiar with the officers in the schools the problem will resolve itself
By being transparent and forth coming on situations within the Sheriff’s Office
