40-year resident of Dearborn Heights. My career with Dearborn Heights began in 2006 in the Treasurer's office. In 2018, I became the City Council Secretary until appointment to City Clerk 2 days prior to the August 2020 Primary Election. Upon the appointment, I resigned my position of Crestwood School District Board Trustee/Secretary where I served since 2006.

I raised 2, now grown daughters and I am a proud grandma. Prior to raising my daughters, I was employed by Michigan Bell (AT&T), in public relations, for 14 years. In 1991, I "retired" to raise my family. This is where my community involvement began, serving as room parent, PTA president, Girl Scout leader, as well as Band & Athletic Booster and Parent Advisory Committee.

Active member of the Association of Wayne County Clerks and Michigan Association of Municipal Clerks.

My goal is to continue to offer voters safe, secure and accessible elections and share my institutional knowledge with the Administration & Council.
The priority issues facing the Clerk's office are budgetary. Elections are constantly evolving, and new equipment may be on the horizon. This past year, I have made it a priority to seek out and receive grants that have provided financial relief to the taxpayers. This would include both election equipment, election security and voter accessibility.

Another priority would be to review and update ordinances which affect the Clerk's office as well as working with Administration & Council to review and update the Charter as necessary.
