Nearly 25 years working in Philadelphia nonprofits (fundraising/development, communications, consulting, board management), 18 year resident of the Township
I believe the township should prioritize projects that enhance the quality of life for residents.
I believe that climate change is a real and pressing issue and that we should take proactive measures to protect our natural resources.
I am committed to exploring Cheltenham's opportunities for economic development. I believe that we need to reduce the Township's dependence on tax income by attracting new industries that align with our values and strengths.
I have worked in nonprofit leadership for many years, managing a board of directors, preparing financial documents for review, and being responsive to an ever changing budget. I'm familiar with the need to get creative when finding funding solutions, weighing the pros and cons when making decisions and, ultimately, having to make calls that align with your ultimate goals and vision, but perhaps don't make everyone happy in the immediate.
Create a robust commercial corridor that brings in businesses that both contribute economically to the Township, but that also help develop our beautiful, diverse and vibrant community.
I believe that accessibility, transparency, and communication are KEY. We are stronger together, even if we don't always agree with one another. I am a big fan of respect and KINDNESS above all else. I will be open, honest, and available to my constituents.
