I would like to serve my community. I have the interest, commitment, and support of other Tax Collectors to succeed in this role. I have professional experience in Finance Software, including, configuring accounting software. Ironically I was a programmer for the Department of Treasury while living in Washington DC. I have been for many years and am currently a Software Developer/Analyst in Clinical & Finance Software. I have much experience in Creating Reports, Spreadsheet & Databases.
There are various tax collection software programs used through out the Commonwealth, making the activity of collection more standardized. My priority role would be to evaluate options starting with Upper Merion's software, apply for funding, and upgrade the tax software.
