10+ years fighting for Telford residents. Lauren successfully stopped construction of Bethlehem Pike trash transfer station (2013), mega-warehouse (2022), and high-density housing (2024). Bipartisan leader in Bucks-Mont community. Employed as Senior Data Analyst in Pharmaceuticals for 6+ years.
My top priorities are 1) Revitalizing Telford’s downtown while implementing a 15-year comprehensive plan focused on business, beautification, and historical preservation 2) Improving Borough administration with accountable leadership and full-time staff 3) Building stronger regional connections to streamline services. These improvements will be funded through underused grant programs, smarter budgeting, identifying alternative revenue sources, and more competitive bidding—without raising taxes.
With a professional background in managing and optimizing multi-million-dollar budgets under competitive deadlines, I have a strong foundation in strategic financial planning. Furthermore, I was raised in a multigenerational family-owned small-business and understand the financial struggles commonly faced by Telford's diverse families and businesses. I’m passionate about identifying cost-saving solutions to improve the lives of all residents without sacrificing the quality of Borough services.
If I had a magic wand, I would immediately revitalize Telford’s downtown into a vibrant walkable hub filled with locally-owned small businesses, flourishing green spaces, restored historic buildings, and community gathering spots. Our residents deserve a place that reflects our small-town pride and brings people together regardless of political party or identity. I love walking around our community and thinking about how Telford could be improved for the generations that come after us.
Unfortunately, several opponents are self-declared extremists that have intentionally spread harmful misinformation in our community for political gain. Telford deserves better than that. As a Councilmember I would publish accessible updates on Borough decisions and advocate for regular town halls. Committee meetings will also be live-streamed and open to resident participation. I have an extensive background in bipartisan civic discourse and firmly believe "potholes don't care about Party."

Prior to my retirement in 2011, I spent approximately 10 of my last 50 years in the insurance industry, directly accountable for my department’s budget.

Looking to improve through grant funding and donations to improve playground equipment for children of all abilities. Expand parking spaces for handicapped individuals in key parking areas. Creation of a Veterans Memorial on vacant land to honor our heroes. These initiatives are intended to improve the quality of life for residents and demonstrate the power of collaboration between local government, organizations and the community.
With a wealth of experience in municipal finance, I have developed a strong understanding of the budgeting and fiscal decision-making process. As a former Tax Collector for the Borough, I have gained a hands-on experience in managing revenue streams including my own business in preparing income taxes, property tax/rent rebate and earned income tax. Attended a class on Municipal Budgeting and Finance. The past three years served on the Borough Finance Committee. Current President of Council.
Seek additional funding through the State Legislature to support volunteer fire fighters. This would provide support to our current fire department and serve as an incentive to attract volunteers for the present and future. With funding, we can ensure that our emergency services remain strong and sustainable, helping to protect the community for the future.
One effective way would be to utilize the Borough website, newsletter and town meetings to share accurate, up-to-date information to the residents. By streaming meetings and encouraging residents to attend monthly Borough Council meetings. By doing this, we can foster greater community involvement and create open informed conversations. This will help to combat the spreading of misinformation and build trust within the community.
