 Help people & businesses get through the pandemic & then back on their feet; by advocating for business loans, ordinance revisions, new experiments & science-based information to help us recover.  Keep working with Good Food for Bath and Bath Area Senior Center to get resources & info out especially to the most vulnerable.  Continue bringing neighborhood focus to City Committees. In Community Development Committee, we worked to strengthen the vacant property ordinance to get empty houses repaired or sold so a new family can move in. Advocated for “missing middle” housing - the Uptown project. In the Transportation Committee, will continue to push reduction & redirection of traffic in the South end that is speeding & parking through neighborhoods. Increased police surveillance & deployment of electronic signs helps. We need to move proposals into solutions, despite pandemic delays/interruptions.  Continue working to make City Committees look more like the people of Bath.
Am committed to making Bath livable for a lifetime so that everyone from young families to older adults can thrive here. I believe in a team approach to our city's issues, and will keep collaborating to find practical solutions. Am socially progressive and fiscally responsible - I like balanced budgets. 14 year full-time Bath resident, summer visitor for 25+ years before that. Graduate of Leadership Maine program of Maine Development Foundation. Worked in for-profit companies on business problems like how to help older adults age how & where they choose; how to help employees balance work & care for a loved one. Built team serving the US from Southern Maine satellite office, created livable wage jobs. I will continue to work on moving Bath forward through the pandemic and into the future. Loved my first term as Ward 1 Bath City Councilor, looking forward to second term.
