Economic development that is innovative and strategic. We have a lot of momentum on the revitalization of downtown and exciting new business ideas. We need to balance Waterville's role as a service center with encouraging more businesses and residents. I will work to restore revenue sharing and also advocate for more living wage jobs and affordable housing.

Education is the basis of a strong community, so it's essential to support our school system in order to help our children thrive and attract new families to Waterville.

Health and safety during COVID is essential; we deserve better leadership on following state guidance on wearing masks and social distancing.

I will also work to create an atmosphere of racial equity and inclusion so that everyone feels welcome here. Together, we can develop Waterville's potential to be a thriving city with a strong economy, excellent education, a vibrant arts and entertainment scene, and great quality of life for all.
I have lived in Waterville for 24 years, and it was a great place to raise our two children.

As the director of the Kennebec Montessori School for 12 years, I managed a growing non-profit organization with all the challenges of daily operations, marketing, strategic planning, and supporting a team of amazing teachers. During this time, we introduced new programs, saw a 30% increase in enrollment, and conducted a fundraising campaign that enabled us to construct a new wing to accommodate our growing school. I learned to listen and make decisions with the big picture in mind.

Currently, I’m self-employed as a grantwriter and development consultant, using my skills and experience to help non-profits achieve their goals. Through working with organizations on issues like homelessness, food insecurity, arts education, and youth development, I’ve learned a lot about what truly makes communities thrive, as well as opportunities for creative funding of community projects.
