Look ino seeing if there is grant money that we could possible get to make the town better, ie for drainage, so on . Look into seeing if there is program(s) that would draw our young people into coming home to work. i.e. goverment school debit forgiveness if they come to rural areas and work 3-5 years in healthcare or teaching.
In 2019 we had flooding in our town and that hasn't happened before, so address better ways to help prevent it from happening again, which is started but needs more work!
Road repair-we have lots of potholes that need fixed with more than just gravel in them. Drainage-need to figure out best way to get water away from the town as we're in a low area and drainage isn't the best. Budget- to know where the money is at and what it's for.
Lack of communication from board to the public, have publications put in the local paper. Lack of affodrable rental property, see if there is programs that would help landlords fix places up and area towns to see what places are renting for.
