1. I am working with The city of Columbus, Polk County, Platte County, Colfax County to do a feasibility study on building as Bridge across the Platte River between Columbus and Schulyer on Butler County's G Road. In the wake of the 2019 flood there has been a rise in interest in finding funding from business and government to put the bridge in again. The railroad bridge that is also located in the same spot was not damaged by the flood and all other bridges were closed between Grand Island and Omaha after the flood causing economic and personal hardships to a lot people and businesses.
The Roads in Butler County are the highest priority in any weather event. No mater if it is a flood, wind, or snow event we will do everything possible to get the roads back to safe travel for rescue, police, and residents.
1. Staying ahead of maintenance on Roads including budgeting enough money for gravel.

2. Continue finding ways to pave more of our highly traveled gravel roads such as the rest of the River Road I didn't get paved

3. Working with land owners to help them keep ditches cleaned to keep there highly taxed farm ground drained and productive in the wake of all the wet weather we have been having.
I believe that I am the best candidate for Supervisor because, I am available 24 hours 7days a week to serve the people of Butler County. Since I operate my own Business in District 2 Butler County I am almost always here to deal with problems that arise from the Court House, Roads Department, and Sheriff Department during regular business hours. I can rearrange my personal work around the need the county has for me so that these departments don't have to rearrange for the supervisors schedule. Also I have a excellent attendance record to Supervisor Meeting only missing four due to family issues in the 12 years of service i have provided. Also I have 12 years of experience at the position.
