I would support policies that allow the recommendations of the election officials to take place.
It is the role of the government to protect it's citizens from all enemies, foreign and domestic. The state government has every right to step in to protect citizens health and safety.
I support restructuring funding to ensure every kid gets a quality education. Also, ensuring high speed broad band internet across the state would help improve access for kids' education.
I support legislation that always puts the citizens first, including stopping partisan gerrymandering.
Our water, air, and land is a valuable resource that we need to ensure stays clean for future generations. I believe that big polluters should not get a seat at the table when discussing regulations.
I believe that they only way to move forward is by working together. Let's start by passing the easy stuff that everyone can agree on, like universal background checks.
I believe that women are full people with body autonomy and medical privacy just like men. I believe that women are smart enough to make their own decisions about their bodies with out interference from the government or lobbyists. Body autonomy is the #1 indicator for economic mobility worldwide. Any attack on women's healthcare and body autonomy is a direct attack on all women and all people. Study after study has shown that the best way to prevent unwanted pregnancy is by supporting stronger healthcare and education policies, not by attacking women. I support strengthening education and healthcare, including over the counter birth control, which in turn will lower the rate of unwanted pregnancies.
