Union Township (Hunterdon) School District-1 yr. unexpired term

The Union Township School District serves students in kindergarten through eighth grade. Schools in the district are Union Township Elementary School and Union Township Middle School. The Board is comprised of nine members who freely dedicate their time and energy to serving the school community. The Board serves a dual role: To represent the concerns of the citizens, taxpayers and parents to the school administrators, and to represent the needs of the students and school district to the citizens, taxpayers and parents of the community. The School Board sets the policies, goals and objectives for the district and holds the superintendent responsible for implementing the policies and achieving the goals. School Board members are elected for three-year terms. This election filles an unexpired one year term.
