Lack of healthcare providers - including closing rural hospitals and failure to expand Medicaid

Wage gaps for workers with many workers not making a living wage.

Public schools need more resources to provide quality education to our students, including recruiting and retaining highly skilled teachers, and assuring that all students have access to technology like high speed broadband.
We need a statewide mask mandate and regular testing in schools and workplaces. We ought to provide alternatives to schools for children that test positive or are exposed to COVID 19 that will allow parents to continue to go to work. Schools need the resources to make them safe i.e. much smaller classes and room to be socially distant.

The state must develop and enforce regulations for senior care facilities that will minimize the risk to the residents. That may mean providing funding to assist them in updating the facilities. In-home care options should be expanded.
I am not satisfied with the work our legislature is doing. I think that they are working on a political agenda that does not serve the families of the state. In fact it seeks to marginalize or exclude many groups of citizens. The lack of responsiveness to the people and their needs has to be challenged and the misinformation corrected.
