Please describe your priorities for your term in office and your specific qualifications to effectively address those issues.
How should this office cope with likely budget limitations created by the pandemic?
In what city, village, or town do you vote?
My First priority for the office is always to help citizens get information or copies they need as efficiently as possible.
Second Priority is for our office to process and record current daily Land and Vital Record documents promptly and accurately.
Third Priority is to continue indexing historical documents both in Vital Records and Land Records.
Budget/pandemic- Dane County has set Budget Guidelines for 2021 to reduce my office budget by $45,580 to help offset lost pandemic revenue for the County. The department budget I will be submitting over the next few months will lower the Register of Deeds office expenditures by $85,000, not just for budget year 2021, but for years to come.
