State House District
The people of Northern Maine face economic hardships brought on by a lack of suitable employment, poor infrastructure, health disparities, and high utility costs while intentionally divisive rhetoric is causing our people to turn away from forging real solutions together.
1. I will work to form bonds between the various interests of all Mainers so that the stigmas of race, class, gender, and lifestyle are diminished and to facilitate equitable solutions. 2. I will work to support investment in the infrastructure of rural Maine so that economic prospects reliant upon virtual and physical connectivity can move forward. 3. I will work to support public education and related support services that are equitably legislated and funded.
I will host regular open forum town halls in locations and mediums accessible to all constituents and continue to remain active in my community where everyone can access my support.
I will work to bring my ideas, first applied to HardScrabble Solutions, to forge systems-based approaches to work, family, and community by encouraging legislation that would support and fund web-based information technology businesses that offer family-friendly, recovery-centered services to their teams of employees.
