Clearly the COVID 19 virus is the greatest challenge to all of our citizens and residents in Maine right now. Strong public schools with highly qualified educators and support staff. Good paying jobs while protecting the environment. Access for all to affordable healthcare. Clean energy alternatives for Maine. Workforce training for everyone that wants a job. Access to high speed internet and expansion of Broadband service to every zip code in Maine. Care and compassion for the elderly and disabled among us.

Education, Workforce Training, and Environmental Protection.
Teach civics, government and financial literacy as required courses to every Maine student in our schools. Educate the public about registering to vote and voting as well as registering for selective service when you reach 18 years of age. Encourage more women to run for political office, locally, state-wide, and nationally. Expose all of our students to the value of volunteering and supporting causes important to them and their families. Encourage military service, Peace Corp or Vista service as an alternative to college for those not pursuing higher education.
Increase career and technical education opportunities at our CTE high schools and community colleges for our students to fill jobs that now require higher levels of training. Healthcare and mental health services to all that require it. Special attention to elderly care is important in our state which has the country's oldest residents. Rebuild the telecommunications infrastructure to include high-speed broadband throughout the "County". Re-training for older workers who have lost their jobs and want to continue to contribute to the economy. Attract more workers and industry with favorable tax incentives for small businesses as well as large corporations. Introduce tuition forgiveness programs in high needs occupations as a public service to our residents. Implement welfare to work initiatives.
