COVID. I just went to see if I could get tested, and I don't have any symptoms and I can't. I wanted to share the process with my other representatives, just
I want to do what's right for my constituents and the state of Maine. I spent 20 years in city politics, and the biggest issue is always taxes. I want to keep taxes as low as I can and still meet the needs of the people.

Health insurance - that's huge. We need to get health care for people.

The daily issues we have with COVID - I deal with it every day with different people, trying to make sure they have what they need to get on with their lives.
I do that every day - trying to get people involved. When I was on the city council, one of my committees was finding people to be on boards and run for the council. It starts with the cities and towns, getting people involved. You build a resume within your city or town, with the people you'll represent. I think people need to get involved on the school boards, town councils, city councils. So I'm always advocating that.
We'll need to get help from the feds, and that money comes from you and I, but we need the assistance - businesses need assistance. And that trickles down to the people who work for them, and then into the economy. You have to take care of your businesses, that's what makes the economy roll.
